SJDXA Members,

At previous meetings, we discussed applying to have an SJDXA member become a card checker.

John Sawina, NA2R has volunteered. John was a card checker in the past so he is fully qualified. Being a DXCC card checker requires strict compliance with DXCC rules as well as Card Checker guidelines which also require attending a number of “Conventions” etc each year.

We have a small problem. The ARRL does not hand out appointments easily. The ARRL Section Manager can only appoint “one” Card Checker. Our current SNJ Card Checker is Mark K2AX who lives just west of Hammonton. The only other way to apply for an appointment is with a nomination by a “DX Club” with at least 25 members who hold DXCC.

I have attached a list that I have “guessed” which members hold at least basic DXCC. Could all of you please open and review the list in order to check to see if I am correct?

You do NOT need to email me if it is correct for you.

If it is NOT correct, then please let me know so I can correct it.

I would like to have a few more than 25 just to be safe and to show that we are a true DX Club.
