Bob,
Unfortunately, I have pass this year. I am home with the flu. Diagnosed yesterday and I know I will still be in the sack on Saturday.

Subject: [SJDXA] MEETING
The next SJDXA meeting will be held this Wednesday evening at 730 PM. At the site. Very important meeting to discuss and plan for the 160 SSB CONTEST THIS WEEKEND!
We will need to TEST the transmit antennas, and estimate how much the NE sloper needs to be shortened to put us somewhere around 1860-1870 resonance. Since the upper wire is the hot side, and the antenna was stretched to a fairly low frequency (maybe around 1780), we really do need to adjust the antenna if we want to use it. At least the ground is frozen.
The weather has not cooperated with our antenna adjustment needs. Perhaps with a full crew on Friday, we can get it done.
In any event, we are in need of at the very least one K3 with dual RX if possible. Two would be magnificent. Let me know.
Also, it would be nice to know WHO plans to participate and when?
Marty? DanNO? John?
I drove by the entrance to the site this afternoon. The driveway is snow/ice covered but I don't think anyone will have trouble getting in.
Bob Wick? Any input? I saw tire tracks through the gate. What is the status of the site?
See ya' in the Pileups!
