[SJDXA] Enigma

I just saw this and thought some of you may be interested.

 

ENIGMA EVENT

Many of you will recognize that name from WWII stories about the

"code" device used by the German Military.

The European research and cultural institutions have organized

an event where ham radio messages will be exchanged

over the air, encrypted with the Enigma code. The event is to

commemorate the Enigma's importance in the history of communications

and encryption. The international event will be

conducted September 12-25, and hopefully will be of interest to

many Amateur Radio operators.

All details and rules are available on the official web site at:

Deutsch and French. An Amateur Radio Award (ENIGMA

AWARD) is associated with this event.
