Hello INDEXA Members and Fellow DXers,

  

What a thrilling moment yesterday to open the envelop from the Internal
Revenue Service (IRS) and learn that the IRS has approved INDEXA as a 501(c
)(3) organization.  As your INDEXA President I am pleased to share this
announcement with you and how it will benefit both you and INDEXA. 

  

For U.S. tax payers this announcement means that your donations to INDEXA
are now tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.  This applies to all
donations made since September 19, 2014.  As always you should consult with
your financial adviser to determine the impact on your tax position.

  

For INDEXA the new status means that with your increased donations we can
expand the size of our financial grants for qualified DXpeditions to rare DX
entities.  It may mean that when INDEXA can increase its support of a top
100 expedition you may finally make a much sought-after contact!

  

Receiving this IRS Tax-Exempt status has been a goal of INDEXA for many
years.  Our thanks to those who worked so diligently to make this new status
a reality. 

  

Now I hope you will consider a generous contribution to INDEXA to take
advantage of our 501(c )(3) status and the benefit it may mean for you.  I
encourage you to make your tax-deductible donations to INDEXA by credit card
or PayPal through our secure web site server and pressing the Join, Renew,
