I would hold off until probably next week to try to operate from the club station if the goal is maximum success. They have only been QRV a couple of days and the pile ups are very big especially during European daylight hours. There is no Gray line propagation during our mornings. Gray line for the low bands peaked here last evening at approximately 7pm local. At 10pm last evening it was very easy to work them on 20m SSB or CW, Europe was sleeping and Propagation was excellent. Morning propagation up until approximately 11am is poor for us and almost impossible to get through the European wall of signals. Afternoons and evenings are definitely better from the East Coast. By next week they will have all the stations up, the pileups will be smaller and they will be more predictable. Just my 2 cents for what it’s worth.

The below information is posted on the FT5ZM web site. http://www.amsterdamdx.org/update/
FT5ZM team continues to remain focused on making as many contacts on as many bands as possible. Stations are on the air from both locations. Antenna erection at Mataf, the lower site is complete, but antenna work continues at Antonelli, the upper site. Erecting antennas at Antonelli is very difficult and taking much more time than anticipated due to the challenging terrain and high foliage. The hike from Mataf to Antonelli is an exhausting uphill climb, and takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. The team is tired and in good spirits!
To date there has been no Internet connectivity. The primary focus of the entire team is on completing the antenna work and making as many contacts as possible. Logs will be uploaded to ClubLog as soon as possible. We will announce when the first upload to ClubLog is complete.
Thank you for your patience.
