[SJDXA] [OBARC-L] FW: W1AW/2 Centennial Operations at West Creek

The ARRL Centennial  has garnered an enormous  reaction world-wide  in unprecedented activity in this year-long event . Operating W1AW/n is analogues to being on a very rare DXpedition with awesome piles on just about every band and mode. If you would like this  unique experience  from the other side of a pileup, come out and give it a try this weekend. 

 

SJDXA pre scheduled W1AW/2 operating slots for 2 stations for this coming Saturday and Sunday, April 26 and 27. This is a  as a group operating activity and SJDXA and OBARC members are invited to operate. 

 

Bob N2OO and myself (W2USF) plan to be at the WYRS-FM site in West Creek on Saturday. If you wish to operate please  e mail me for your time preference. 

 

SJDXA scheduled slots for  Sunday. However, due to the lack of interest,  Sunday operations may be canceled unless there  is ample interest  to cover the  Sunday slots. If you wish to operate Sunday e mail  N2OO at comcast.net <mailto:N2OO at comcast.net>  or w2usf at comcast.net <mailto:w2usf at comcast.net>   ASAP.  The Sunday slots will be released  and become open for other NJ operators shortly if there is there is inadequate  interest. 

 

The SJDXA -N2CW operating slots and modes are listed below. 

Here are the slots that we have scheduled for Saturday:

Station 1:                                                                                     

8am-10am           10 SSB                   

9am-11am           15 SSB                   

11am-1pm          10CW                     

1pm-6pm            10 SSB

6pm-8pm            40 CW

8pm-12mid         20 SSB

 

Station 2:

Saturday    

10am-2pm          17SSB

2pm-10pm          17CW
10pm-12mid       40CW

 

 

Here are the slots that we have scheduled for Sunday:

 

Station 1:

8am-10am           15CW                    

10am-12pm        10CW                    

12pm-6pm          15SSB

 

Station 2:
10am-2pm          17SSB

2pm-6pm            17CW

 

The SJDXA Saturday and Sunday operations are separate and distinct from operating from your home QTH.

W1AW is in NJ until April 30th at 0000Z when it will pass to other states.
