Some last minute comments SJDXA members.

First, if you were curious as I was, the OTHER state operating this week
(with us) is New Hampshire.

In August, we get to do this all over again sharing with Vermont next time.
Dates are August 6-12. (Might make our Lighthouse activities REALLY
interesting?)

In John's details, he said to use a 3 letter code for your county when
sending in your log files. Not sure what the proper abbreviation should be
for Ocean County, so let's use OCE. County hunters use a 4 letter code
(OCEA). And one might think to use OCN. So, let's all use OCE. Atlantic
County folks use ATL. Burlington BUR. Etc.

Tomorrow night is our meeting at the site. It will be important as we need
to plan for the weekend at the N2CW shack. We also have other important
details to discuss.

So far I have only heard from a couple of you about operating. As of right
now, we are not scheduling specific "ops". But we will make sure that
everybody who wants to operate, will operate. This is meant to be a
"contest" style operation. But it will MORE feel like a DXpedition which
means that the pileups will "keep on coming". So, be prepared! I will be
there to help. The idea is to have fun.

We will have TWO stations QRV at a time. Our schedule is posted on the
spreadsheet (N2CW). I set it up for mainly 17 meters during the day (CW or
SSB) for one radio. And, other bands (40,20, 15, 10).

Steve W2USF plans to be at the site most of the weekend. I will too. As of
right now, we are scheduled to operate from about 9 AM Saturday through late
evening.

Here is what we have so far:

Station 1: Station 2:

Saturday Saturday

8am-10am 10 SSB 10am-2pm 17SSB

9am-11am 15 SSB 2pm-10pm 17CW

11am-1pm 10CW

1pm-6pm 10 SSB

6pm-8pm 40 CW

8pm-12mid 20 SSB

Sunday Sunday

8am-10am 15CW 10am-2pm 17SSB

10am-12pm 10CW 2pm-6pm 17CW

12pm-6pm 15SSB

Obviously, if we don't have the manpower to do this, we will have to
"adjust" the schedule accordingly. All of this is TBD tomorrow night! Yes,
op scheduling IS on the table if that will help. But you must be at the
meeting so we can plan.

So, HAVE FUN! That's what this is all about really!

HAVE FUN!

The SJDXA meeting is 7:30 PM tomorrow night.

See ya' in the Pileups!
