SJDXA members;
Here is the FULL info on LOGGING REQUIREMENTS for W1AW/2
>From W2GD and N2MM
GE Everyone,
Hopefully everyone receiving this email has signed up for many of the
operating opportunities during the W1AW/2 Operation in NJ next week.
IF NOT....please go to the signup spreadsheet and reserve your times...there
are over 250 hours available each day.
Spreadsheet:
BaVGJjZHNfcHc&usp=drive_web#gid=6>
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ane1wHz0ERtedEw3ekpDcHpOZDM1YjB

BaVGJjZHNfcHc&usp=drive_web#gid=6>
1. Enter you call in hours desired. 2. Click "Share" at upper right. 3.
Click "Done" when the info box appears.
Following what is on the Spreadsheet is important to avoid more than one
station on a band/mode at the same time.
If you find you have some spare time during the week, and want to do
additional operating, look at the spreadsheet for current scheduling, and
feel free to jump in to cover open time slots....just remember to enter your
call in the slots taken.
LOGGING - Software, Format, Naming Format, Submission
Preferred Logging Programs: N1MM, Win-Test and WriteLog. Use of the HRD
Logger is not acceptable...since it generates excessive detail in the .ADI
file.
The logging program must be able to generate an .ADI file. In most cases
use the "DXPEDITION" or equivalent operating 'event'. Mixed mode settings in
your logger are probably the most appropriate so you can enter contacts for
any mode (CW, PH, Digital).
Please......interface your XCVR with your logging program so your TX Freq is
captured and reported on the log file.
PLEASE back-up your log after each operating session for data safety.....we
don't want to lose log data when it is avoidable.
Log Naming Format:
Operator/Station CALL _ YOUR 3 Letter County Abbrev _ YOUR GRID.ADI
Example: W2GD in Hunterdon County in Grid Square FN20 would look like this:
W2GD_HUN_FN20.adi
Log Submission
Please send your .adi log files as an email attachment to:
W2GD at hotmail.com.
On the Subject Line of your email message please put:
LOG W1AW/2 NJ From Your Call
e.g. LOG for W1AW/2 NJ from W2RQ
Logs are due by 8 pm on 4/30, the day following the event.
STATION IDENTIFICATION
On PHONE, please say W1AW STROKE 2
D0 NOT say W1AW PORTABLE 2
Identify at least ONCE PER MINUTE, but sending your call after every QSO is
preferred.
WORK ALL DUPES without comment.
QSO EXCHANGE
CW: 599 NJ
PH: Five Nine NJ
Suggestion: DO NOT send the exchange until you are sure you have the call
correct.
Please make your best effort to copy and log callsigns accurately. Repeat
the callsign whenever you make a correction so the caller knows you have
made the correction.
SUGGESTED OPERATING FREQUENCIES
The established pattern for W1AW/n operations has been to operate in the
General Class portions of the HF bands. Do your best to avoid traffic nets,
DXpeditions, and other W1AW/n operations.
USE OF SPLIT OPERATION
Once you establish a pileup, it is most often to your advantage to operate
in split mode, but please, only do this if the situation warrants going
split. During slower periods this will not be necessary.
On CW, listen up one to two KC, and say "W1AW/2 NJ UP"
On PH, use a three to five Khz split and say UP 3, etc.
In all cases please be sure your TX and RX frequencies are not causing
interference to others.
Please - DO NOT go by call areas.
INFORMATION I NEED FROM YOU ASAP:
On Tuesday I am required to submit a list of anticipated operators and their
contact information to the ARRL next week.

includes the following:
