[SJDXA] Paranoia

Beth, Keara and I went to see Paranoia on Friday!

We were really excited to see the "short" ham radio scene, complete with my
gold presentation semi-automatic key right on Harrison Ford's (character's)
desk in the filkm,a nd he did say "Ham Radio". Although the scene was
shortened a little, it was still really cool to see John's old radios, and
my key in what was a very key scene in the movie. You have to watch it to
figure out why.

And, one more thing.

If you go to see the movie, be sure to stick it out to the very end of the
credits to see "SOUTH JERSEY DX ASSOCIATION" listed! Yup! We made it to the
big screen!

 

John K2TQN wrote an article from his perspective on the experience that we
had. It was in the August issue of QST Magazine on page 97.

I wrote an article from my perspective for the September issue of CQ
Magazine. I am proud to mention that it will be the COVER STORY!! Way cool!

 

Oh, by the way! The movie was great! We all sat on the edge of our seat
throughout the movie!
