IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM OUR SNJ SECTION EMERGENCY COORDINATOR
Sandy has been upgraded to a Category 2 hurricane.
There is an increasing possibility the storm will affect our region.
I'm considering raising the section alert level over the weekend; the timing will be determined by tomorrow's NWS weather briefing package.
Now would be an excellent time to review your family disaster plan and supply kit, charge up batteries, function test equipment, and replenish any missing items from your go-kit.
Please make sure you have reviewed the most recent version of the communications plan available at:
http://www.snj-ares.org/emergency-communications-plan
I'll provide more information as it becomes available.
