As requested, I will try NOT to use the word "WORK" again for any of our
site "activities".

The project at the site today went well.

On hand were N2HM, W2RDM, N2OZ, N2OO, and KC2VBB.

We:

1. Swapped out the rotor with our spare. No more brake hangups!

2. Dropped the TA33 and realigned the reflector. Snugged all clamps.
Inspected.

3. Replaced ropes on ends of 80 meter dipole.

4. Realigned TA33 direction.

5. Tested TA33, 40 and 80 dipoles. All working quite well, with best
SWR in CW bands. But operable in SSB bands, either under 2:1 or with
adjustment of tuner.

I will see about getting the old Tail twister rotor refurbished. I had
forgot that it did NOT have a terminal plate on the bottom. We found that it
was hardwired to the rotor cable. This will need to be corrected. I will
give a report on this later after I research possible alternatives.

Next SJDXA meeting will be THIS Wednesday at 7:30 PM at the site.

See ya' in the Pileups!

73!
