W2WSC Special event

The Tuckerton Wireless Amateur Radio Club, The Old Barney Amateur Radio Club
<http://www.obarc.org/>  and the South Jersey DX Association
<http://www.sjdxa.org/>  will jointly commemorate the  100th Anniversary of
the Tuckerton Wireless (WSC) <http://mcnally.cc/tuckmain.htm>  by operating
W2WSC during the month of November 2012. W2WSC/100 will be used from
members' homes. W2WSC/WSC will be used from the last operating site of the
Marine Coastal Radio Station WSC in West Creek, NJ. Also, to celebrate the
40th Anniversary of the Tuckerton Historical Society
<http://www.tuckertonhistoricalsociety.org/> , W2WSC/40 will be used from
the Society's "Giffordtown Museum" on November 17th from about 1500 - 2100
UTC. The museum has many artifacts as well as documents related to the
Tuckerton Wireless on display. John Dilks K2TQN will also be giving a
presentation on the history of the Tuckerton Wireless at 1900 UTC (2 PM
