Hello SJDXA members!

Would you like to help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the
<http://www.tuckertonlehhs.org/tuckerton-wireless-project.php> "Tuckerton
Wireless (WSC)"?

Here is a nice site with many pictures from the Tuckerton Wireless
http://mcnally.cc/tuckmain.htm

OBARC and SJDXA will join the "Tuckerton Wireless Amateur Radio Club" in a
month long operation of W2WSC/100 in November.

Not only is 2012 the 100th Anniversary of WSC, but it is also the 40th
Anniversary of the Tuckerton Historical Society
<http://www.tuckertonhistoricalsociety.org/> !

We will be setting up a ham radio exhibit at the Tuckerton Historical
Society's "Giffordtown Museum" at 35 Leitz Blvd in Little Egg Harbor
Township (West Tuckerton). The date is Saturday November 17th

We will be setting up 2 HF stations at the museum at about 9:00 AM.

The museum will officially open at 12:00 noon, and John Dilks K2TQN will be
giving a presentation on the history of the Tuckerton Wireless at 2:00 PM.

We will continue to operate until about 4:00 PM.

The public will be invited, and there could be a large crowd there.

Obviously, we need helpers so we can use this opportunity to "show off" ham
radio at this event!

Please plan to attend!

In addition to this operation, members of the participating clubs will be
invited to operate using the special event call W2WSC/100 from their own
home stations during the entire month of November.

QSLs will be handled by Steve W2USF and OBARC will provide QSL cards. A
special photo card will be designed for the operation.

We could use someone to coordinate activity so we don't all show up on the
same band/mode at the same time.

If you are interested in doing this, please drop me an email and we'll set
you up.

Mark your calendars now!

Let's make this a very special ham radio event!

See ya' in the Pileups!

73!
