[SJDXA] HK0NA QSL Project

SJDXA Members,

The HK0NA QSL cards will be arriving in the next couple of weeks thanks to
an assist by Don KC2AQU. One of his trucks will pick them up in Ohio and
bring them to Tuckerton. Just to give you an idea, the order was for 20,000
double cards and 20,000 single cards and they are on a 2’ x 4’ skid and
weigh 356 pounds.

This will be a monumental QSL project.

We will need help. As soon as the cards arrive, we will need a few
volunteers to start the “peal, stick, rubber stamp, stuff, apply postage,
return address, lick/seal, and mail” the cards.

We have MANY QSL and address label sets ready. But, we are only about 20%
through the pre-processing right now. OQRS direct is about ½ done. Direct
Mail has only just been started.

There will not be any more mail opening sessions since the incoming mail has
slowed, and I am able to open it as it comes in now.

 

SO, please consider helping. If we spread the work around, it will make
things go easier and quicker.

Please let me know if you can help. I will have QSL work “sets” ready in
time for the next meeting on May 23rd. Sets will include QSL’s, envelopes,
stamps, rubber stamps, stuffers, etc. (Assuming that the truck schedule gets
the cards here before the meeting)
