[SJDXA] Site Activity

SJDXA members,

Looks like we will be having a site activity with the W2GD crew this
Saturday.

Anyone available, please come out so we can start cleaning things up at the
site, and prepping for 160 contesting.

If you are able to work in the marsh, please bring your boots if you have
them. If not, there are a few extra pair at the site.

 

As you probably already know, the site was not active this weekend in the
ARRL 160 thanks to Hurricane Sandy!

The CW crew is hoping to get things working in time for the Stew Perry
Contest the end of this month, and then on to the CQWW 160 CW the end of
January, and THEN the SJDXA crew's use in the CQWW 160 SSB the end of
February.

Once we get the shack cleaned up, we may also do some operating in the ARRL
10 Meter Contest. But we need to defer to the cleanup as much as possible.

 

FRIDAY: A few of us will also be at the site this Friday to do some coax
cable testing, and some preliminary shack cleanup.

Anyone available is welcome to assist. We'll be gathering at about 9:00 -
9:30 AM Friday morning.
