[SJDXA] work party at N2CW

SJDXA members;

We will be needing to get a work party together for the site sometime in
October?

The 40 inverted vee needs to be diagnosed and repaired and better installed
with better rope, etc.

The rotor on the TA33 needs to be refurbished. We can replace it with our
spare Tailtwister (if it tests good) and send it out for rebuilding by
Norm's Rotor Service.

 

The inside shack needs to be better set up. I would like to get the
fluorescent light repaired, and some lighting placed over the radio area as
well as maybe under the shelf??? Anyone have ideas?

 

I have a large bulletin board that I would gladly donate if N2HM says OK, we
could mount it on the back shack wall. We also will have some more
certificates to hang.

 

We could also replace some of the crawlspace coax feeds, and place a PVC
line towards the shed area for those beverages and fill with coax feeds.

 

What else do we need to do before the next ice events?

 

I assume that the 160 CW crew will be re-converging at the site soon as
well. But I haven't heard from them. So, we should move forward with our
stuff as well as be ready to help them out when the time comes.
