SJDXA members,

I just discovered a very cool and unique thing that CQWPX is starting. You
can go to the official CQWPX site

http://www.cqwpx.com/

and select the RESULTS tab.

You can search for your entry and PRINT your own certificate if you want! I
see W2ARP actually gets a certificate for a 36 point entry in 2010! J

Also, they have started to make all logs PUBLIC. I have mixed feelings about
that. It's nice to see what the competition is doing. But it also could be a
way to check for QSO's made with that station before sending a QSL.. or to
find the correct time that you made a QSO. From a contester's viewpoint, it
is good. It is a way to keep folks honest, and to be able to use other's
info to improve your own operation. From a DXer's standpoint, well I'm not
sure. The ARRL does not make any LoTW logs "open" for obvious reasons.

Anyway, take a look and check it out. Apparently they will be doing this for
the CQWW as well, although no mention about other CQ sponsored contests
including the 160 ones.

See ya' in the Pileups!

73!
