At our last meeting, we discussed the old SJDXA WB2KXA packet cluster node
that John had provided for many years. John sent this new info for our
members:

Hope you all give it a try.

Bob,

Back in the day, it was hard to connect to the WB2KXA packet cluster so I
put up a cross frequency digipeater so we could connect here at the shore.

Well that was a long time ago, probably twenty years and many computers ago.

Today I run an internet cluster node with backbone connections connected
directly to my node from Europe, Canada, Chicago and W1 land. For years I
have called this node the flagship node of the sjdxa since KXA became a
silent key.

Please post it to the reflector so it sees more use. Tell the members to
send mail to each other on it, post bulletins and info and just feel free to
beat on it and most of all enjoy it and tell them if they have any issues to
email me at KE2OI at comcast.net since I enjoy maintaining this thing. I
promise I will not yell at anyone the way Jim did at me when I put up the
cross connect!

It is a spider node and to connect it is: ke2oi-dxc.dyndns.org 7300

The 7300 is the port number and you can use telnet, putty or ve7cc client
software. There are no activity timers so feel free to connect for days. I
might bounce you only when I upgrade the software and have to reboot.

See ya' in the Pileups!
