SJDXA MEMBERS;
Follows is the tentative final score from the CQWW SSB Contest! (I will
review the log carefully before submitting). PLEASE do NOT forward this info
as it is not final.
As you can see, even though we were faced with nearly insurmountable odds on
Friday when we discovered ALL 3 of our 160 transmit antennas had come down,
we STILL managed to "create a compromise antenna system in less than 4
hours", get on the air with only 5 minutes to spare before the start of the
contest, and still put together a record score for SJDXA. And conditions
were only "so-so". This was the most QSO's (1,173 after removing dupes) and
the highest score (412,272) we ever achieved and EVERYONE who participated
should be PROUD of what we did as a team regardless of where we place in the
standings!
Super job team!
