[SJDXA] DELAY OPENING?

Well,

 

I had seriously considered coming down with Marty today......but now no chance.  Sorry.

 

Up here in the north country above Trenton we had 6 inches before dark, and apparently another half foot or so over night (cant really tell), BUT the big news is the wind....a gust of 52 mph was recorded by one of those automated wx stns about 2 miles from here, and the current sustained winds are in the 25 to 32 mph range.... and we're having heavy snow right now.

 

There are 2.5 to 3 foot drifts across the driveway which had been plowed clean last night.....so Elaine and I are honkered down for awhile......probably all day.

 

The big surprise, so far, the power has not been disrupted... a minor miracle.

 

Attached are a few pics from the EA8AH/EF8M mountain taken one week ago today.  What a contrast.
