I just picked this up and thought I would share it for future reference.

 

 

"OK folks,

Here are the instructions provided by a POS [postal] clerk who knows how to
redeem IRCs. Take these instructions when you go to the PO to discuss with
PM [The postal manager?]/clerk:

 

[Tell them to check, presumably on their computer]

 

1. Stamps & Mdse [merchandise]

2. Exchange

3. Redeem Foreign IRCs

4. Enter .98 (cost of the stamp)

5. Scan (presumably one IRC) and sell one international .98 stamp 

6. the balance owed will show zero

 

Easy, hope this helps"

 

Duane hopes these instructions make it possible to exchange those foreign
IRCs.
