Just got this from W2GD who will be at the site to install a short vertical
for RX for an additional RX antenna to supplement the beverages. It will be
quite a distance from the building and will require helping John lay down
some RG6 coax and eerecting the antenna.

If you might be able to help him, let me know and I'll get you together with
him to plan the day and time.

>From John:

Is there someone down there who might be unemployed or retired who would
have the time to work with me to install the short rx vertical in the woods
either late next week or early the following week?

I figure about 4 hours work will be required to decide on the location of
the vertical, then to dig a 3 foot deep hole with fence post digger, install
the 2x4 wood base, raise the vertical antenna, install the 4 top hat wires
properly, lay down 8 precut 65' ground radials, do some impedence matching,
and lay out 2000' of RG6.

See ya' in the Pileups!
