I have called CQ on PSK-31 at various 6 meter frequencies during most of the recent E-Skip openings. I have used low power & high power, omnidirectional & yagi, around 50.250 & up & also 50.170 --
I have yet to get a reply to my PSK CQ's!
I have not yet (ever!) used WSJT on any band. Just not familiar with that software yet.
You can call CQ until you are blue in the face with no results if no one is copying your PSK/digital signal! Once I switch back to SSB or CW, I get lots of replies.
Solution -- we need to establish a common frequency/calling freq. for PSK on 6 & use the digital modes whenever possible.
Any RTTY on 6??
I've been on 6 since 1975 -- 102 DX & 750 grids -- still hoping for a PSK QSO!
