What OS are you using..?  (If Windows 8, your likely up the creek 
until a POP Mail app is found..).

What e-mail client are you using...?

If Eudora 7.1.0.1 (Classic version), encoding should be set to MIME 
(This also has a Mac OS version) www.Eudora.org

Mozilla Thunderbird also is good & works on ALL Windows formats 
through Windows 7 (Doubt it works on Windows 8)  www.Mozilla.org ..
