I just last week returned from a great DXpedition to the North East part of
Botswana A2.
While there we found that the 6 meter band was open to Europe and parts of
the Middle
East. In just over one hour I was able to work 7 country's and 40+ stations
and then A25JR(N5JR)
got on and in over a hour time he worked 11 country's and over 70 stations
also. All this was
done with a Tennadyne T6 LogP at about 30+ feet. I am very seriously
looking into a return
to Botswana in March 2013 to do more 6 meters. I am looking into getting a
good 6 meter beam
that can be mounted at about 30 feet high and at least 5 El. The Guys in
South Africa told me it is
like this every March. The day we left the band was open for about 4 to 5
hrs.

Anyone out there that would like to join with me and do this next year let
me hear from you.
