Any "web mail" site that stores address books on the web site is ripe
for hacking, best defense is to NOT store address books on "web mail"
sites..!
Secondly, install and set to "Auto-Update" a good firewall & anti-virus,
Anti-spam program from a reputable vendor (FREE applications are at
"CNET Download.com site, TuCows is another with FREE applications of
well known security software, THEN "CHANGE PASSWORDS" frequently with
RANDOM numbers and alphabet in upper & lower cases (If supported), that
DO NOT SPELL ANYTHING, frontward of backward..!
Works on other groups I belong to, best it's a good idea to have a
secondary ISP to access messages while away from home & to regularly
EMPTY e-mail box on a daily basis (If not more often)..
