I just asked him if he would document the mod and he said he
would. (I didn't know if he had made the mod himself or was
selling what someone else had done.)

I imagine that QST would publish a brief article if he sent
one.

I have been told there would be problems with inefficiency
due to long lead-lengths and possible oscillation - but he
says it is stable.

His article/documentation will be interesting reading.
