I sold this to a friend but he has several amps and is selling
the extras, plus he has a bunch of need-work gear on the bench,
so he's decided he shouldn't keep the Harris.
The Harris Platinum was designed for CH2 TV and is both rugged
and easy to work on. The included AC -> 50vdc @ 50a power supply
was designed for mission-critical applications in a server environment.
Hook up the PS, add an exciter and antenna, and have 1500W SSB on 6M.
It will also work on 20, 17, and 10m at reduced output, and will need
output filtering for harmonics.
However, you may want to make some mods. (I have the details in an
article that was written by a former Harris engineer, or so I am told.)
One guy who is using one of these said that the input stage is
well-defended against overdrive - so if you make an error it
kicks-out and you have to do a reset. Good protection!
I put a bunch of pics here:

I had planned to get the transformers and splitter-combiners
here and convert it to HF + 6m :

Here is the step-start kit for 50v amps (a kit is included
with the amp):

Bob, W5UQ, in Texas is asking $775. plus shipping but is
accepting reasonable offers.
If no-one buys it I will be unable to resist working out
something with him to buy it back ... not that I need any
more projects - and right now I am working on maximizing
my antennas before thinking about an amp.
