It does get you on the radio I guess. I also missed some good 6M DX prop
from '07 to '09 when I was off the air when I took my tower down when our
house was imminent domained (that's when you bought my 9 element Joey) for a
new toll road. Then when we moved to the new house in '08 I spent most of
the summer deployed for the Iowa flooding, and in your neck of the woods for
Hurricanes Hanna, Ike and Gustov. Plus deployments to places like Haiti for
the earthquake took a lot of time DX'ing away! At least I have HF with me
when I deploy and in down time I can tune to the ham bands.

Anyways I hope to get the last 3 countries this year for my 6M DXCC, I have
stopped collecting grids once I got #500 confirmed as it was getting a bit
expensive for a piece of paper!
