Back in 2003 the CO2 from fossil fuel emissions was figured at 26.8
Billion tons.
Typically even a "big blow" releases so much Sulfur Dioxide (an aerosol)
which is a cooling agent the net effect is a cooling from the larger
eruptions. Pinatubo created a notable, but brief cooling. Krakatoa
created a cooling that lasted about 2 years.

Things don't happen that fast...normally. Of more concern is the South
Atlantic anomaly of which we can do absolutely nothing.
