Dont laugh, it gets me up to 3000`` to mountaintop. And yes, it becomes a tripod
for my Buddipole 6m dipole too.

Several years back I was tracking an EOSS flight (www.EOSS.org) on the eastern
plains of Colorado on a very long straight county highway at 7 AM on a late
winters Saturday Morning. I was way behind the payload and I set the cruse
control for over triple digits for about 15 minutes to catch up..
I passed a cowboy in a Ford F-150 who was going 65 MPH like he was bolted to the
ground..
Took along time for the smile on my face to go away!
