Geesh Pete ! And I thought I was doing good to reach the Texas Gulf caost from Kentucky with 10 watts and a homebrew rigid dipole!!!

Next May will mark thirty, (30) years that I've been actively working 6m DX.

Note, I didn't say Pacific DX NEVER happens, especially from our west coast. I stick by my remark that it is not COMMON from NORTH AMERICA. (All points.) 
I've worked a good deal of EU from the east coast that California would consider as rare as JA / VK / ZL from where I live. I'm sure in all of history, an opening existed from somewhere to everywhere else. But if these were "common," 6m would have no particular charm for thousands of us who know why it's called, "The Magic Band."
