Neat story, thanks for sharing it!

It would be interesting to know the antenna, coax, rx pre-amp (if any),
rig, amplifier, and any other accessories (rx filter, tx audio
processing, etc) that was in use at each station.

Their elevation, proximity to water, and proximity to potential noise
sources would also be of interest.

It is fun to see all of the variables, in addition to propagation, and
to then see which one may be able to replicate.
