 Readers, permit my unsolicited comments regarding John's TS660. This is a very desirable radio and was the "Cat's Meow" for a long time. Some may even consider it rare, and not often seen on the secondary market. It had Technician Class ops in mind when 10m SSB first became available to them, (1986?) to make the natural transition to HF easy without paying for the lower bands they didn't need or want.
If this radio has no issues as stated, the asking price is VERY fair indeed and should absolutely be considered, regardless of output power, as 6m 10w in - 150w out amplifiers are plentiful and found ~$150 used. Your total investment can get you on 6m with 50% higher output than a 100w HF+6'er for almost ½ the cost.
It's an absolute steal.
I predict this radio will sell immediately.
