I have a TS-2000X I use mainly as a backup HF and on 6M. On HF, I am not
impressed as I have tried A/B comparisons with my venerable old warhorse,
the TS940S. My 940 hears stuff the 2000 doesn't even know is there.
Theyjustdon't make rigs like they used too.

Measurable snowfall has come to the high desert. First time in about 6
years. We have appx 3 inches and still falling. Local area is shutdown worse
than a bad day on 6M :)

I was all Collins and Yaesu until I bought the Kenwood TS-2000. This
is the most remarkable DC to daylight radio. I purchased a TH-D7
walkie and can walk all over the neighborhood and work any mode on 160
through 6 using SkyCommand.
