It's not just features but the quality of execution that
drives price - which is why the Icom 7000 brings more than
the Ysesu FT-857D.
There are also some features in the new rig that are not
present at all in the FT-857D.
That said, I don't ever expect to own a rig that was ever
sold for $4,000., even 10 years from now the used price will
be outside of my budget!
