[SixClub] Question on Amplifier

Hi all,

   At present I am not sure an Amp would'nt be more trouble than help here.
I am using a Yaesu - FT 950 at 100 watts on Six Meters into an Arrow
Antennas 4 element Yagi on a roof top TV Antenna Tripod & Radio Shack light
duty Rotor setup. So far during band openings I've contacted the vast
majority of stations I've heard, with only a few that could not hear me.
   I feel at present an Amplifier would only make me heard beyond my own
ability to hear. During Contests many locals with 6 or more element beams
hear lots of stations I do not hear. Right now I think I'd be better off,
and $$$ ahead to build a far bigger antenna. Currently I plan to build a 7
element dual polarity Cubical Quad fed with two switchable coaxs on a 20'
boom that will be up about the 50' level on it's own tower. Just my two
cents.
