40,000 transmitters scattered across the country at 454MW on 1525 
MHz—1559 MHz.

What's the chance that they will intefere with more than just GPS?

Does anyone really think that if you live near one of those monsters
you will be able to keep them out of your 6m receiver connected to
a gain antenna with a pre-amp on the tower?
