At the moment a BIG SUV With 4WD on big tires and LOTS of clearance
looks kinda good. BUT the back-up generator has been warmed up, tested,
and is ready to go, snow blower is gassed up and ready to go but we used
it yesterday. It's been used more so far than all of last winter
combined. OTOH until now we've not have the stuff get very deep. My OLD
SUV 4WD on 17" mud and snows will handle quite a bit.

N edge of "the storm" is now about 15 miles N of us on RADAR, but only
flakes falling outside.
Winds in excess of 35 with snow up to 3" per hour and maybe a total of
up to 15" on top of the 14"(give or take and varies widely over just a
mile) we have on the ground. We had 4.5" of new snow this morning. The
winds are already gusting to 30. A low of abt 13 tonight and a high
tomorrow of 19 going down to zero +/- 4 tomorrow night.
It looks like it may get a bit deep out on the roads tonight and
tomorrow. Blizzard warnings from 7:00 tonight until 7:00PM tomorrow night.
