Roger, this is what I recently received from Icom:
George,
Thank you for being such a loyal ICOM customer and for your inquiry.  The IC-9100 has been delayed to be released in the February - March 2011 time frame. Thank you for volunteering to test the radio but at this time we do not have a need for a tester.  I will keep you in mind if we do.

So, maybe they are awaiting Dayton yet again!
