Sorry if this is a duplicate, but mail program is getting flaky

I gotta get this mail program fixed so it doesn't go to my default
address every time. Lets hope this one makes it through.

Uh.....Roger.!!!!! Let me know the next time you are working in
Carrollton. That's only 12 miles or so from my place. We should
    get together over coffee.

That'd be great, but I retired in 97. I haven't even been back to visit
corporate or the home plant since I retired. Not even to my old office
to reminisce. They wanted me to come back through a headhunter agency,
but I told them not a chance. 6 months after I retired I had a call to
do some consulting out of Toledo on a 3 year contract, but again I
retired so I didn't have to work those hours. I look back I could have
used the money, but it gave me a chance to at least play for a while and
I think that is worth more than money. OTOH for what it would have paid
I probablyshould have taken it. <:-)) I stayed in the inn at the state
park just East of Carrollton. I think it was ... The General Buttler?
Maybe?

While down there I visited my "old boss" (Dale Atchison(sp?) between
Carrollton and the plant to the North. He was my boss (and a ham) when I
hired in as a tech up here way back in 61, He built a huge and
beautiful place with the back yard abutting the cliff to the Ohio. I
think the yard was something like 8 or 10 acres. The place had a full
basement about twice the size of the house (and basement) where I live
now. The poured concrete walls of the basement were the most perfect
I've ever seen. Straight and not a mark from the forms.

I'm trying to remember the place where we ate one night. It was a
small, private restaurant/converted winery with just maybe half a dozen
tables or so on a balcony overlooking the ancient winery below. The
entrance was off a small path through a garden and door set in a stone
archway.

I don't know what that dinner cost the boss, but I'll bet it wasn't
cheap<:-)) Then again the owner was a friend of his. That's the boss I
was working for at the time, not the one I visited. <:-))

IIRC I drove through Bedford a number of times.

BTW where's the nearest airport with at least a 3000' runway?
