The following two items are about E4X in Palestine with thanks for EA5RM
and
G0JHC.

It is 19.00 local time (1600Z) and we have finished all antenna setup
except
80 and 160 meters that will be done tomorrow. We have 4 stations working
at
the same time and everything is going well. We are going to try to upload
the log three times per day. 6 meters SSB QRG was move to 50120. From
tomorrow we will start with operation shifts, I hope to have some free time
to coordinate band changes and antenna beaming. Plan on CW for all the
weekend will be to work on WARC bands. I am exhausted, but happy.

Tonight one station, I do not know still if CW or SSB, will be on 20 meters
with the antenna beaming to US around 03.00 to 05.00 UTC. I want to read
some reports when I wake up tomorrow morning.

73! de EA5RM / E4X

Jose EA7KW started out on 6m around 07.59z, Friday 28th May, with Nick
5B4FL
answering his 1st CQ (tropo). The band soon opened up on 1 hop Es to SV/I
etc then double hop Es out to over 4000km, with strong signals into GM,
followed by G and mainland Europe. It goes without saying the Mediterranean
paths, both 1 and 2 hop have been open most of the day, with large pile
ups,
over a few KHz, making 6m sound more like 20m here in Europe.

There are already some 300+ 6m QSOs in the log after the first few hrs. The
E4X/B was on the air for some time, around mid day, while the Op took a
break to erect more Antennas and no doubt eat.
