Sorry, I always translate to SSB.

He's talking an AM/CW carrier output rating which is
600-750w PEP.

He probably could drive it harder than 15w.

"AM linear for a Lafayette HA-460 and with 8w of carrier 
input, the output is 160w. With 15w of AM carrier from my 
RCI-5054dx, the amp provides 300w."
