That's high compared to average, but it's possible more people are 
becoming aware of the tube, plus that one is still nice and shiny.
The going price for a tested pull with full output is still less than $400.

The 3CX3000 and 4CX3000's are, or have been going for less than $300, 
but the sockets get a bit pricey.
