[SixClub] 6 Meter Ranger Transceiver w/MFJ-903 Tuner

Yes I know it has been spotty to some areas, but overall the band has been open almost every day since the end of April. THis is one of the best beginnings I have ever seen to the summer Es season.

In terms of the original poster, I hope he doesn't give up on 6m. While it isn't like 40 meters where it is open day or night to somewhere, it is a lot of fun, and if it was open all of the time, the challenge would go away. After all, how excited does someone get working Ohio on 40 meters? Not as much as you get when you work them on 6m!

Yes, there are plenty of good buys out there for used rigs that cover HF/VHF/UHF and for what the 100 watt Ranger model goes for new I wouldn't buy it. You can find a used Alinco DX70TH or Icom 706 original for that price. As I said before they are pretty good rigs IF you get one at the right price.
