Rebuilt Hallicrafters HT33B with a Ceramic 8295A along with the old
PL-172/8295A, Alpha 76A, and Henry 2002A.
33B looks almost new inside and out. (8295A is worth more than the
amp-RF Parts gets over $2400 ea, but with a guarantee)

I think all are spoken for except the 33B. It was, but like many of us
he ran into some constraints.
At any rate, I've gotta get the 897D out and on the bench to drive these
so I can test them. Never had a moments problem with the Alpha and
ended up blowing out a tube when I was testing it.<sigh>

We took my tri-bander down and found the boom was really beat. (two
holes completely through one side) I have it nearly ready to go back up,
but this time it's only going up 50' on a 25G at the West end of the
shop. I brought home 3 five foot long, solid steel rods 1" in diameter
and 12, six inch X 10.5" steel plates to weld up a dirt base for the old
25G. (traded parts for that). So as soon as I weld up the base and get
it painted the 40' Aluminum tower with the AV640 comes down, the base
gets dug out, AND the new base goes in place of it. Then the 25G goes on
top of that base. THEN the rebuilt TH-5 goes on top of it. A friend is
going to store his old Ham IV on the the 25G and we'll use the mast to
the TH-5 to hold it in place. As long as I can keep trading up...

THEN we still have to take the 7L C3i 6-meter yagi and the 144/440 array
down along with 40' of 2" mast.
The C3i needs a new boom truss.
THEN I have to get, cap, paint, and splice two lengths of 2" DOM with
1/4" wall, install in the 45G, install the C3i, raise the mast 15', put
the rotator in place and THEN install (at 100') the 3L 40 meter 40M3-125
Yagi that I picked up used for a good price. And my one neighbor
doesn't like the looks of outside antennas.

Will the above get finished by the end of summer? Stay tuned in to find out.

A bit over half way down on
http://www.rogerhalstead.com/ham_files/boatanch.htm you will find some
shots of the station out in the shop. The only thing in the house at
present is the Kenwood TM-V710 as I've been informed we are going to
repaint the room and install new carpet.

Too many irons in the fire.
