I'm not in the market at present, but I still like to look.
When it says a KW out with a pair of 3-500's It reminds me these old 
amps were built when the legal limit was a KW DC in.(or 2 KW PEP)

I found the add for the 350 watt 2-meter amp interesting. That is a very 
nice amp, but  "only had it two weeks Just getting out of the hobby"?
I always wonder if they had help making the decision. Of course that 
could be for many reasons other than the first one that comes to mind.
