My shop which is the current home for my station until I finish 
remodeling the den, and which will be the back up station set up SO2R 
has an interior that is entirely of bonded "barn metal". The big doors 
are insulated and metal clad. A cell phone won't work in there unless 
you stand right in front of the South window and the tower is less than 
2 miles away. I guess you could say it's fairly RF tight. <:-))

All wiring in the shop, be it control wiring (thermostats for heat and 
air conditioning, fans, remote lights, coax, rotator cables, remote 
antenna switches, TV COAX (Satellite and off the air), and computer 
network (3 runs of CAT6), or AC power are surface mount, EMT Thinwall 
steel conduit. All come in, or go out underground including the AC 
mains. Even the exterior junction boxes are grounded, steel.  Exterior 
conduit is PVC.
