BTW the lightning struck the local repeater twice while it was here. The 
first time it blew out the 7/8" Heliax about 20' down from the base of 
the big antenna.  The second time we had one of the diamond 144/440 
repeater antennas up. It looked like the end of an exploded cigar and 
the top radiating element was about half a foot shorter than it had been 
before the strike.   IIRC that was the same time I lost the 9913 which 
would have been about the time I decided to put up the 45G. 
Unfortunately I don't have any photos of that, or of the big 
Shakespear(sp?) repeater antenna in place. I thought I had some, but I 
haven't been able to find any yet.
