The way I read it the only effect we will, or rather saw was the radio
burst of noise. The Coronal Mass ejection or (CME) is supposedly not
aimed at us.
6-meters is presently open over much of the US to the East of the
Mississippi and from Florida to Michigan and Ontario.
We will likely see some disturbed conditions on HF some time in the next
few days.
I'd have to get the books out for any more information than that.
